A storm crossing Italy Saturday will rapidly strengthen through the weekend, bringing heavy rain and strong to severe thunderstorms to southeast Europe. Rain, some heavy, will soak areas from Slovenia and Croatia to southern Ukraine. Flash flooding is possible in these areas this weekend.
